General description
The C-terminal binding portion of the chain of tetanus toxin. The intact toxin is known to block neurotransmitter release at inhibitory synapses in cultured spinal cord cells. Shows trans-synaptic retrograde transport in the central nervous system. Caution: may contain trace amounts of intact toxin. Follow the handling procedure described in the information that accompanies the product.
